Why this exists

Documentation is a public service.

We film public interactions, examine how officials respond to protected activity, and build a record people can read for themselves.

The work is calm, lawful, and specific. It is not an excuse to trespass, obstruct, harass, or manufacture a confrontation.

Field principles

Let the record speak.

  • Stay on publicly accessible property unless you have permission to be elsewhere.
  • Remain calm. Tone is part of the record.
  • Do not interfere with official duties, emergency response, or public services.
  • Keep a clear gap between observation and obstruction.
  • Protect private personal information, including documents, screens, and bystanders who ask not to be featured.
  • Research state and local law before you go. Do not rely on another state’s video.
